Marketing Advice & Support
Most business owners know they need to market their business, but if like many you don't know what sort of marketing is best for your business read on....
Do I really need to market my business?
All businesses, no matter how small, require some sort of marketing. Without marketing yourself, your business can't reach it's full potential, your customers won't know who you are or what you offer. There are lots of different types of marketing you could do for your business - social media, Google Ads, leafleting, cold calling, a website, networking, advertising....the list goes on.
Many small business owners think that they don't need a formal marketing plan and as a result they waste hundreds, if not thousands of pounds and huge amounts of time each year on 'shotgun marketing' (unplanned & impulse based marketing activities that aren't tracked) that does nothing to increase revenue to the business.
So what do I need to do to market my business?
That's a harder question to answer because every business is as unique as you are, and you have specific goals that you want to achieve. There is an article on my blog that is worth checking out that goes through how to create a marketing strategy and how to know what sort of marketing to use. Click here to take a look. I also regularly put tips and advice on my Facebook page.
